At Long Last (Already?)
By Hunter Mills
Well, we’ve done it. Somehow, the longest and shortest four years of my life have passed and graduation is only two days away. Congratulations, class of 2014! The road that got us here is paved with sweat, tears, laughter, memories, and many good books. I am incredibly grateful that I have gotten to spend the last year getting to know you, not only as fellow students, but also as readers of this blog.
This is the face of a college graduate, people!
I have learned so much in my time with the OPCD, and would like to thank Julie and Adrian for giving me this opportunity. In our archives, you’ll find inspiring interviews, relevant advice, and thoughtful reflections for developing your career—whatever that may be. As you begin the next chapter of your journey, I hope you’ll look over our blog and stay in touch. If you need more hands-on help this summer (I know I will!), the OPCD career advisors will be on hand to answer your questions and assist your job search. All it takes is an email to email@example.com to set up your appointment.
Although I’ve finished my studies here at UD (sigh) and am moving out of Old Mill (yay!), I’ll be returning to the OPCD blog this fall. I can’t wait to meet the class of 2018 and reconnect with continuing students. Here’s to a relaxing, productive summer and immense success in all of your endeavors! To my graduating classmates, congratulations and good luck!
